"title": "[Test] Exportable, tamper-evident audit trail for regulated firms",
"change": "Add a one-click export of the audit log: every agent action and every human approval or rejection, with who did it (the person, and the agent if one acted for them), when, and what changed. Chain each entry to the one before it with a hash, so a missing or altered record is detectable. Export as CSV and JSON.",
"why": "I'm a 22-year-old student from New Jersey looking for compliance work at a bank in New York, so this is the feature I'd want to show a hiring manager.\n\nBanks and broker-dealers that try AI agents still have to show they supervised them. FINRA's Regulatory Notice 24-09 (June 2024) says its rules, including supervision under Rule 3110, apply to generative AI. The SEC's 2022 amendments to Rule 17a-4 added an audit-trail option to its electronic recordkeeping rule. A tamper-evident, exportable record of who approved what would let a compliance team pilot agents here and hand a reviewer the record in minutes, instead of rebuilding it from emails.\n\nIt builds on the audit log already planned for Release 2 (ACCEPTANCE.md: G4, S7, O3), so it's mostly an export and a hash chain, not a new system.\n\nSources: FINRA Regulatory Notice 24-09, https://www.finra.org/rules-guidance/notices/24-09 · Mayer Brown on the 2022 Rule 17a-4 amendments, `'https://www.mayerbrown.com/en/insights/publications/2022/10/sec-adopts-amendments-to-electronic-recordkeeping-requirements-for-broker-dealers-and-security-based-swap-entities'`",
